Freestyle Intro Clinics are designed for kids ages 7+ and adults with an adventurous spirit and desire to fly! In two-hours, with a dedicated coach, participants will be introduced to the NEW Spence Eccles Olympic Freestyle Pool, ramps and skills needed to take flight. Coaching focuses on basic freestyle skills and a few tricks off the ‘mini ramp’ into the pool.

Previous ski experience recommended but not required. All equipment provided – skis, boots, wetsuit, life jacket, and helmet.

*Must be able to ski and swim. Participants are not guaranteed to progress to the water ramps.



  • Available June 2 through September 3
    Friday, Saturday and Sunday
    2 to 4 pm

  • $95 per person
    Program fee includes: wet suit, skis, helmet + water ramping (mini ramp only). For participants with their own equipment, you are welcome to use it.

    • 2 to 2:15 pm: Arrive, Video Orientation + Stretch
    • 2:15 to 3 pm: Get Equipment + Wetsuit, practice on Jumpless Ramp + Mini Tramp
    • 3 to 4 pm: Water Ramping
  • Programs

    • No refunds given once a program has begun. Refunds may be considered in the event of an injury or mitigating circumstances and will be determined at the discretion of the Head Coach or Program Manager.


    • For all cancellations there will be a $25.00 processing fee applied.
    • 14+ days before start of session = 100% refund (minus processing fee)
    • 13-7 days before start of session = 75% refund
    • 6 days or sooner before start of session = 50% refund


    • Parents must communicate via email to Program Manager or Head Coach must be notified within a week of injury
    • In the case that a request for a refund is approved, it will be calculated from the date of the request, not the date the athlete stopped attending training
    • Athlete/parent will have the option for a refund or to put the money in an athlete account for that athlete to use for future UOP programs
    • No refunds will be considered after April 1 for winter programming and October 31 for summer programming
