Alan Alborn
Head Coach, Ski Jumping + Nordic Combined
Alan has been coach with the Park City Nordic Ski Club for five years. As an athlete, Alan was a member of the 1998, 2002, 2006 US Olympic Teams and four World Championship teams. In 2002 in Plancia, Slovenia, he set an American distance record in ski flying of 721 feet, a record that still stands to this day! Currently, Alan coaches Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined and is also the head coach for the Women's Ski Jumping Team. Naturally, all those years of flying off ski jumps motivated Alan to get his private pilot license. When he's not flying in planes or on skis, he keeps himself busy by helping his wife raise their four boys.
