Ability Level Beginner/Intermediate
Utah Olympic Oval's Adult D-League Hockey Program was created to provide a fun and competitive league for beginning level adult players.
The D-League coaching team wants to create an environment that gives men and women who discovered hockey later in life an opportunity to develop and advance as hockey players amongst peers. At the same time, the D-League is also perfect for lifelong hockey players who aren't quite ready to hang up the skates. Those who love the game can continue to play no matter their age.
For adults looking to stay in the game at a recreational level AND for those participating to improve and progress to upper divisions of hockey, the D-league can help.
The Utah Olympic Oval is looking to add appropriate expansion teams to the D-League roster for the upcoming season. D-League Teams should mostly represent beginner level players. (Teams/players who tend to accumulate high penalty minutes will not be a great fit for the D-League.)
The Olympic Oval also has resources to support new teams get off the ground including finding new players and providing jerseys. The Oval can also provide new expansion teams select practice times to help the new team come together. Practice times are subject to availability.
D-League players looking for a team for this upcoming season can contact the Olympic Oval Hockey Program Manager.
