The Comp Team is a year-round training program that focuses on building strength and endurance as well as developing technique. Skiers will train 5-6 days a week. Workouts will include running, classic and skate roller skiing, strength training, biking, agility, speed, and technique. The spring and summer training is essential to building fitness, strength and endurance. During the fall the focus shifts to building maxvo2 and power. During the winter season the Comp Team members compete in local, regional, national and international races. The team will also have 3-4 dry land or on snow training camps.
Spring: May 1 to June 8
Monday, Wednesday, Friday (3:15 pm to 5:15 pm)
Summer: June 12 to August 18
Monday thru Friday (9 am to 11 am)
Fall: August 28 to October 27
Monday thru Friday (3:15 pm to 5:15 pm)
Training times are approximate and subject to change.
Camps and competitions are additional to program fees.
Roller skis, boots, poles, bounding poles, running shoes, mountain bike, road bike, helmet, water bottle with carrier, and heart rate monitor.
