Age U14 (Year of Birth: 2005, 2004)
XC Devo Plus prepares young athletes for year round training with the Comp Team. Skiers will begin to apply and understand basic training principles of cross country skiing. Practices will become more ski specific and include a variety of games, drills, speeds, intervals, distance sessions and technique workouts. Activities may include: skate and classic roller skiing, running, mountain biking, agility, games, relays, hiking, skills course, bouldering, speed skating, and swimming.
Spring: May 1 to June 7
Monday + Wednesday (4 pm to 5:30 pm)
Summer: June 12 to August 17
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (9 am to 11 am)
Fall: August 28 to October 26
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (4 to 5:30 pm)
There will two camps (one early summer and one late summer) that will be an additional cost. There will be no regular scheduled training during camps.
Camps and competitions are additional to program fees.
Equipment and clothing for roller skiing, running, hiking with poles, mountain biking, helmet, and water bottle with holder.
