Team Soldier Hollow is designed to expose youth to cross country skiing and biathlon. Three programs based on ability and age, Youth League, Development Team, and Competition Team, are offered to meet the needs of all participants. Youth of all abilities (including those who have never skied before) are welcome to participate.

Youth Ski League – is for children ages 6-12 of all ski abilities. The goal of the program is to teach the fundamentals of cross country skiing through fun and game play. We will cover basic to intermediate skills in both skate and classic techniques. Within the Youth Ski League kids will be split into 4 developmentally and age appropriate groups.

Development Team – For kids age 10-13 who have ski experience and an interest in racing. The Devo Team is a bridge between the Youth Ski League and the Competition Team. Skiers will develop technique, strength and endurance, through games, relays, and other fun activities. Devo Team skiers are encouraged to participate in Wasatch Citizen Series races and the Intermountain Youth Festival.

Competition Team – For experienced skiers and racers ages 14 to 18. This is a year-round training program that focuses on building strength and endurance as well as developing technique. The Comp Team travels together to local and regional races, including a fall camp in West Yellowstone and all Junior National Qualifiers.
