Continuing the Legacy

Volunteer at the Oval

Volunteer Opportunities

Drawing on Utah’s strong spirit of volunteerism, Salt Lake 2002 recruited around 26,000 volunteers for Team 2002. This massive force became the face of the Games and was a large part of the great success of the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Games. While the 2002 Games are nearly 14 years behind us our venues are still home to some astounding world events in which we hope to continue the legacy of our volunteers as well as the legacy of the Olympic Athlete.
