The Residences at Utah Olympic Park, a state-of-the-art building designed to serve athletes, and employees of Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation, creates an affordable housing option in our community to allowing UOP staff and athletes to live in the town where they work or train. The building offers three thoughtfully designed floor plans, durable finishes, in residence kitchens and laundry, paired with views of the 2002 Olympic venue and Snyderville Basin. No dogs permitted with the exception of service animals.

  • Studio apartments are 448 sq. ft.
  • 2 bedroom, 1 bath corners units are 757 sq. ft.
  • 2 bedroom – 4 person occupancy, 2 bath units are 870 sq. ft.

  • Studio apartment have A/C, but the 2 bedroom apartments do not.

how to qualify

  • –All interested individuals are required to complete the UOP Residences Step 1 Form
  • –Applicants must meet these required criteria to be considered for receiving a Step 2 Form:
    • –Applicants must have income levels below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). Because unit types will determine exact qualifying details, income levels limits will be evaluated in Step 2 of the process.
    • –Applicants must either be employees of the Utah Olympic Park or Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation OR athletes who are actively training and registered as an athlete with a nationally recognized sport federation of the United States Olympic Committee OR a coach registered with a nationally recognized sport federation of the United States Olympic Committee.
  • –As demand for this subsidized and affordable housing benefit will exceed availability, the Legacy Foundation will also use the following criteria in consideration of offering available apartment leases:
    • –Olympic winter sport athletes have priority over summer sport athletes
    • –US athletes have priority over international athletes
    • –Athletes training at the Utah Olympic Park have priority over athletes training in other Utah locations
    • –UOP Resident Club athletes and coaches have priority over non-resident club athletes and coaches.
    • –Being a recognized winter sport athlete or coach of a national or international team
    • –Tenure and exempt status as an employee of the Utah Olympic Park and/or Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation will be factors considered
  • –Additional information will be requested through a Step 2 Application Form once applicants complete the below Step 1 Form

timing and process

Applications will be reviewed and processed as received. It is very likely that a lottery and wait list system will be used as demand is anticipated to exceed unit availability.
