Utah Olympic Oval COVID-19 Operations

NEW SAFETY MEASURES

As we navigate through this unprecedented time as responsibly as we can, the Utah Olympic Oval has implemented a number of new safety measures based on the guidelines and protocols set forth by the State of Utah and Salt Lake County Health officials, as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We are committed to a responsible reopening of Utah Olympic Oval.

We have significantly redesigned the way we will provide training environments for athletes and quality experiences for our guests with safety and health of our visitors front of mind. Our goal is to implement a phased approach to introduce additional activities as community health conditions allow.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

For Guests, here are five key things to know before arriving at the Utah Olympic Oval, including:

  • Entry to the Oval will be granted only to those wearing a face mask or face shield that covers their nose and mouth at all times
  • Face coverings are required throughout the venue and are required to be worn from the time you enter until the time you exit the venue
  • The use of a face covering should not be seen as a substitute for social distancing
  • New entrance and exit patterns have been implemented. Please follow directional signage provided on site
  • We’ve added an increased focus on disinfecting and sanitation, including the addition of hand sanitizers in key areas

COVID-19 WARNING

We have established enhanced health and safety measures — for you and our other Guests. Please follow all posted instructions while visiting Utah Olympic Oval.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

Additional COVID-19 Operations

Employee Screening: Employees will be required to complete a health screening and temperature check at home, prior to coming to work.

Limited Contact: Following guidance from the government and the medical community regarding enhanced screening procedures and prevention measures, we have made some temporary adjustments that include limited-contact Guest Services to ensure a responsible and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Physical Barriers and Signage: Physical barriers and signage have been added in select places where it is difficult to maintain strict physical distancing guidelines. These may be visible in areas around cash registers or at Guest Services, for example, to help ensure proper distances between people.

Cashless Transactions: At this time, it is recommended all guests use cashless or contactless payment options, such as credit cards and debit cards or purchase tickets in advance online or via your phone.

Cleanliness and Sanitization: We’ve increased cleaning and disinfection in high-traffic areas such as public elevators, handrails, benches, tables, handles, restrooms and more. Additionally, Utah Olympic Oval will open with hand sanitizer locations, and guests are highly encouraged to use these while visiting.
