Utah Olympic Oval Temporarily Closed to the Public

Utah Olympic Oval Closed to the Public Through Nov. 23

To our valued visitors, athletes and staff,

As we enter a crucial time in controlling the spread of COVID-19, Utah Governor Gary Herbert and state public health officials have called upon all Utahns to do their part.

At the Utah Olympic Oval, we’ve implemented and have followed distancing, capacity, mask and sanitization protocols since March to help keep our athletes, staff and visitors healthy.

Now that the Governor has issued new protocols – including limiting contact with others outside of your immediate household and pause of most youth and high school extracurricular activities through Nov. 23 – we have determined the best course of action is to close the Oval to the public and pause all youth and adult programs and activities during that timeframe.

US Speedskating has implemented further testing and safety protocol to keep their athletes healthy and the Oval will remain open to national team training.

If you have signed up for an Oval sport program starting in the next two weeks, please contact your sport program manager for more information on rescheduling and refunds.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your continued support of the Utah Olympic Oval while we all work together to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
