BRONZE OLYMPIC BIATHLON EXPERIENCE

This experience gives guests an introductory taste of the exciting world of biathlon.  Experienced staff give an overview of the sport’s history, an explanation of how competition works, and a safety briefing. Guests then have the chance to shoot regulation rifles on one of the few North American ranges certified for World Cup competition.  Bronze Biathlon experiences are offered on certain weekdays (days when range staff are already there for corporate event) throughout the summer at 11:30 AM.

GOLD OLYMPIC BIATHLON EXPERIENCE

This private experience for up to 10 people piles on even more fun and shooting. We engage in the same general program as the Silver Biathlon Experience but have the opportunity to shoot more and take full advantage of time spent on the Olympic Biathlon Range. Schedule an experience with up to 9 of your closest friends or family and get intimately acquainted with the thrills and challenges of one of the toughest sports ever devised. You’ll learn about the long, storied history of biathlon from cavemen to elite special ops forces to Olympians. After a safety briefing, instructional range orientation, and time for practice, you’ll have the opportunity for a short competition set up for the group, whether individually or as a relay. During the winter you will either ski or snowshoe and in the summer come out equipped with your best footwear. If you elect to have a competition you will learn just how hard it can be to hit Oreo cookie sized targets with your chest heaving and heart racing. No matter your fitness level or experience with shooting sports, participants will come away with a new appreciation for Olympic Biathlon and the amazing athletes who train and race on the Soldier Hollow trails!
