Camp Details

  • Hiking will include 1 – 2 miles of daily hiking on the trails at Soldier Hollow
  • Mountain Biking will include skills training on dirt trails with an emphasis on learning new skills and gaining confidence on the bike, riders are required to bring their own bike and helmet.
  • Orienteering is an exciting outdoor adventure sport that exercises mind and body. The aim is to navigate between checkpoints or controls marked on a special orienteering map. Children will follow a map, either hiking or biking to follow the map instructions.
  • Children will also have open ended arts & craft that incorporate the Olympic spirit of international comradery, friendship, solidarity and fair play.

Rules and Safety

  • Required Equipment: Each Child must bring their own water bottle and backpack to carry it, sunscreen should be applied before arriving at camp, bike helmet, sunhat or baseball cap, sturdy shoes for hiking. *A proper fitting helmet is REQUIRED for mountain biking. A mountain bike with gears is required for mountain biking. Pedal bikes without gears create difficulties for the children to climb the uphill trails and keep up with the group. Hiking is available daily for anyone that doesn’t have an appropriate bike. (Strider bikes/or bikes without pedals are NOT acceptable).
  • Can I Cancel or Change My Registration?: Families can cancel up to 72 hours in advance with a 50% refund or move to another week at no costs based on availability. Payment for camp is due at the time of registration. Life happens, please let us know if your schedule changes so we can accommodate someone on the waitlist.
  • Snacks Will Be Provided: Daily snacks will be provided mid-morning to stave off any hunger or to help increase energy levels for the activities. *Please indicate allergies during registration.
