Rules and Safety

PARKING, CHECK-IN & ORIENTATION

Please park in the main guest lot and proceed to the Quinney Welcome Center. Please check-in 15 minutes before your scheduled session. Check-in will begin at the Guest Services Desk at the Welcome Center. Waivers will be checked and guests will receive a sled assignment (there is NO guarantee for riding together, please see below). We can not guarantee that we can accommodate your reservation if you’re more than ten minutes late as we have a certain number of reservations per session and don’t want to hold up the whole session. Please note that your ice time is following orientation. After checking in, guests will be shuttled to the finish dock of the bobsled track. Orientation will take place at the finish dock.

REQUIREMENTS

Participant Requirements

The Winter Bobsled Experience is a highly physical and extreme experience, generating up to 4-5 times the force of gravity.

  • Riders must be at least 16 years of age or older and at least 100 lbs to ride.
  • Proof of age may be requested and a parent or guardian must be present to sign waiver for riders younger than 18 years of age.
  • We strongly discourage anyone with chronic neck problems, back or kidney problems, heart problems, recent surgery, and/or high blood pressure from riding the bobsled.
  • Anyone questioning their health status or experiencing hesitations should not ride the bobsled.
  • Please note that there is a possibility of injury whether the above listed conditions and symptoms apply to you or not. The bobsled ride is an aggressive, intense, bumpy ride.
  • If you are pregnant you may not ride the bobsled.
  • Rides may close due to extreme weather conditions or other special circumstances.
  • There is no guarantee that you and your party will be assigned to the same sled. Sled assignments are based on the order in which reservations are made and will be determined prior to the session.
  • Please review cancellation policy below.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We recommend fitted winter clothing, gloves and shoes with a winter tread. Skirts/dresses are not recommended. NO SKI BOOTS, SNOWBOARD BOOTS, MOON BOOTS, OR HIGH HEELS. Helmets will be provided.

HOW LONG WILL THE RIDE TAKE?

Even though the ride lasts less than a minute, with check-in and orientation, the winter bobsled experience may take up to one hour and 15 minutes.
