Join us for the annual Schutzenski Festival on October 23! The Schutzenski Festival is a celebration of fall in the Heber Valley, and the public are invited to enjoy Soldier Hollow’s many activities.  The Schutzenski Festival opens with a 5-mile fun run/walk on the Olympic trails, and is followed by elite-level biathlon and cross country rollerski races, a Zermatt Wildfire Grill and Bohemian Brewery beer garden, a Wild West shooting competition, and “Discover Biathlon” where the public can learn about biathlon and shoot real biathlon rifles on the Olympic range.  The event is open to the public (registration is required for the Schutzenski 5-mile fun run/walk and rollerski races).  The Schutzenski Festival incorporates training for Olympic and Olympic hopeful cross country and biathlon athletes beginning on October 18 and is capped off with a weekend of biathlon and cross country rollerski racing, including both Elite and Open classes. All Elite Class rollerski races will be run on matched rollerskis and prize money will be paid out for each race.
