Rules and safety

Please sign our online waiver prior to your arrival.

Required Equipment:

Each child must bring their own water bottle and backpack to carry it in, bike helmet, sunhat or baseball cap, and sturdy shoes for hiking or biking. Sunscreen should be applied before arriving at camp. A proper fitting helmet and a knobby tire bike with gears are also required for mountain biking at camp. Strider bikes/or bikes without pedals are NOT acceptable.  Pedal bikes without gears create difficulties for the children to climb uphill keep up with the group. Hiking is available daily for anyone that doesn’t have an appropriate bike.

What we do:

Each week, the summer camp will focus on skills to enhance either hiking or mountain biking. We start with daily stretching, yoga, or other warm-up activities to increase abilities and confidence.  The majority of camp is spent on hiking or biking with a minority offering a chance at arts and crafts or sometimes other activities as well.

Can I cancel or change my registration:

Families can cancel up to 1 week in advance with a 50% refund or move to another week at no costs based on availability. Payment for camp is due at the time of registration. Life happens, so please let us know if your schedule changes so we can accommodate someone on the waitlist.

Snacks will be provided:

Daily snacks will be provided mid-morning to stave off any hunger or help increase energy levels for the activities. *Please indicate allergies during registration.* Typically we offer mostly produce and some packaged foods. If your children are hard to please, you can send them with their own snacks or remind them that they will survive three hours without extra food.
