The Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation is a non-profit organization responsible for maintaining our Olympic facilities at world-class levels and using them to provide opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to watch, learn and excel in winter sports.

Inspired by the success and momentum of the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games, the Foundation has turned its focus toward embracing, engaging and involving Utah’s youth in winter sport. Your ticket purchase goes directly to supporting the Foundation and future winter athletes.

    Join us for the ISU World Single Distances Speed Skating Championships to be held at the Utah Olympic Oval on February 13 – 16, 2020. Watch as U.S. Olympians and the world’s top long track speed skaters compete on the “Fastest Ice on Earth” in the final thrilling ISU competition of the season.

    Even with a home ice advantage, Team USA skaters will face steep competition from fellow skaters from the Netherlands, Russia, China and South Korea. Check out the action on the “Fastest Ice on Earth” and watch the athletes as they attempt to set personal bests and break world records!

    Thursday, February 14

    Join us February 14-17, 2019 at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center for four days of competition featuring the world’s top Biathlon athletes.

    The International Biathlon Union (IBU) has selected Soldier Hollow Nordic Center as the host venue for the eighth stop on the 2018/2019 World Cup season tour. The IBU World Cup Biathlon tour has nine stops plus the World Championships. This is the first major international biathlon competition to be held at Soldier Hollow since the 2002 Olympic Winter Games.

    Celebrate all things winter at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center with the Legacy Winter Festival from February 14 to 17, 2019. Utah has the most beautiful winter in the country and it’s time to get outside and revel in it! Enjoy live music, international foods, vendors, activities, beer garden, and the BMW Biathlon World Cup competition.
