Woodward Ski Program

The Utah Olympic Park and Woodward are excited to offer a learn-to-ski program for youngsters ages 4 – 7 years old.

This is an entry level program for skiers with one year or less of skiing experience. Lessons will take place at Woodward ski area in a fun, dynamic environment, combining ski lessons along with indoor activities to complement the on-hill ski curriculum. Skiers will be provided with all equipment necessary – skis, boots, poles and a helmet if needed.

The program meets Tuesdays and Thursdays January 13 – March 3 with February 18 and 20 off for vacation week.

Discover Skeleton

The UOP Discover Skeleton program provides a taste of the high-speed Olympic sport of skeleton. You’ll learn the basics of this sliding sport and be sent headfirst down the smooth ice track at speeds around 50mph!

Come prepared with gloves and an adventurous mindset to begin your journey as a skeleton athlete. The skeleton programming at the UOP serves as an entry point into US Olympic athlete development programming and you can continue on this path right here in Park City. No matter what, you’ll leave the park changed by this unique and unforgettable experience.

YSA / UOP Skeleton Get out and Play/ACTiV8

The UOP Skeleton program provides a taste of the high-speed Olympic sport of skeleton. You’ll learn the basics of this sliding sport and be sent headfirst down the smooth ice track at speeds around 50mph! The skeleton programming at the UOP serves as an entry point into US Olympic athlete development programming and you can continue on this path right here in Park City.

The program runs for 4 consecutive Fridays with registered participants sliding on all four of the dates. After the program concludes athletes are then welcome to continue training with the UOP Junior Sliding Program (meets on Wednesdays and Saturdays).
