Park City Ski and Snowboard Club

Message from Park City Ski and Snowboard Club Director Jesse Hunt

We are very excited to unite our 5 teams; Park City Ski Team, Summit Ski Team, Team Park City United, FLY Freestyle, and Park City Nordic Ski Club into one club this season and we appreciate your patience as we work through the details of the merge. We have been very busy with planning and delivering parent meetings on program structure in Alpine, Freestyle, and Snowboard. A Nordic meeting will be scheduled for later in the fall prior to enrollment. This merge will allow us to propvide a better opportunity for all families, athletes and coaches. The details on the new one club program can be found in the Proforma posted on our webpage. We are projecting an October 1st start date for Park City Ski and Snowboard, PCSS, entity. In the meantime, you can find information and enrollments access on the current team webpages.

We are all looking forward to a great season!

Park City Ski and Snowboard is excited to invite you to our new online registration platform. Every PCSS family will be required to set up an account with Sports Engine and update their enrollment(s) for the ’17-’18 season. There will be an opportunity for those that have enrolled to quickly move through the system. For those that have not enrolled, there is an option to fully enroll for the season. All scholarship athletes need to delay their enrollment update until a PCSS administrator contacts you directly with instructions. Use the link below and let us know if you have any questions.

Fly Freestyle

FLY Freestyle focuses youth participants on developing Freestyle and Freesking skills. These include the following specialties: moguls, aerials, slope style (aka terrain park) and skier-cross. FLY athletes train in the Olympic Park’s very own ‘Adventure Park’ designed to suit young skiers and enhance their learning curve. The FLY coaching team represents some of the best in the industry including Olympians, seasoned freestyle coaches and a number of locally-trained athletes.

Ski Mountaineering

The primary objective of the Utah Olympic Park Ski Mountaineering team is to develop both the skills and passion for practice ski mountaineering. In doing so, we hope to foster a lifelong love for both the outdoors and sport. Athletes will work towards developing skills to participate in competition that may include regional races, national races, and eventually international races. Skiers will optimize specific ski mountaineering skills and fitness to develop enjoyment and proficiency in the sport. Individuals will focus on learning technical and mental skills through experiences and drills that will create a solid foundation in ski mountaineering.
